Week 3:
Discovering the purpose of a PLN and the benefits that it has for both educators and students. By creating these environments for students and teachers we can share our thoughts and resources in a supportive and cohesive environments.
Week 4:
The immense resource that twitter can be in relation to education. Before doing this research I did not realise the amount of resources that can come from sharing on twitter and how it can be connected to teaching,
Week 5:
I learnt the differences between group, collaborative and cooperative work. Before this lesson I had never really thought of them as individual ideas I linked them all together as one.
Week 6:
This was the big moment when I truly began to realise how different aspects of a classroom effect students learning. I always liked bright colourful classrooms where students work was displayed but never realised that this could effect how they learn. I have learnt that all students have different preferences and it is important to discover what works best for your students. This then creates a welcoming and supportive learning environment for all students within the classroom.
Week 7:
I realised the importance of having a nurtured relationship. It allows us to be able to connect within society. It also gives us opportunities to show what we have to offer, our beliefs and our individualism. This clear mind frame of identification and growing in knowledge with others creates a safe environment for learning.
Week 8:
A big learning point for me has been that it does not matter how fast you process information or how you interpret it. The importance is that you critically think and discuss thoughts with others so that you are taking initiative in your learning.
